There are fish in the river, even though guys have had a tough time getting them the last few days. Everyone I was with yesterday got fish. Who knew that fishing was great underneath the turnpike bridge?!?! With this rain and NOAA forecasting a level of 7.3 by Sunday, we are going to be in the money next week! Get ready. Next week will be a huge push once the river starts to recede.

My Spring Break starts at 2:41 today. So I hope to fish a lot next week. Hope to get in some mornings too.

At BW from 10:00 to 1:00. 6 suckers, no WE. Saw friend take 4 for his wife while I was there. Underwater landings so no idea. (He had his 4.) & not surprised about the ref to the turnpike bridge. Many years ago a friend & 3 others went out at night to 1 of the downriver islands in a boat. If they had been located by the ODW they would have had their licenses permanetly suspended plus a very very hefty fine.
Don't the DNR have night vision implants? They were an option with those underwater vision models.
