Perchin
115 perch and a great storm were the highlights for yesterday. What a nice storm we watched travelling the coastline. But it got too strong and wide, so when the wind picked up and DBLDIP headed off the bow, we b-lined. Little did I know that when Birdman and Mrs. Birdman invited me that we would need to seek refuge off West Sister Island! But 45 minutes later and once Graybeard got his shower for the day, we headed in. Those perch are not even making it to the freezer. Fishfry tonight!

Dbldip,kicked my ass with his Chinese knock off of the old Roger Rig,,I called a couple of my Chinese Maumee friends to get me a couple..it was a little wet yesterday.the storm did not know which direction it wanted to come from.Lightning was pretty neat,
Hey Graybeard it isn't often I do better than you. Wait til next time and I'll have my new improved version 2 Roger rig to smoke em. I could do without the storm next time though.
I will have to re do mine ,I don't care about being out fished,but I like to get one every once in a while,,,I rode out the storm Saturday in the house,called Birdman,he was riding it out eating fresh perch,we are having the ones he gave me today,,I figure I sucked fishing because I did not piss in the water that trip and did not drink any beer,,the fish did not know I was in the boat,,I am having a big L put on my forehead,,,I need some cheese and crackers with my winning ,I sound like someone else....pictures I took turned out like my fishing they sucked.maybe Mama Birdmans came out
Hell of a storm Friday at the campground & a hell of a storm Saturday. Lucky for me the guy next door got the awning up in time. I was about 2 minutes late getting back to the camper.
All that rain and the river was only up about 6 or 8 inches at buttonwood. You know it had to have been awfull dry. May try for some catfish tonight, we will see how things go this afternoon first. Last day of vacation. Graybeard I thought you took some pictures of the sky during the storm not just the stupid birds on the island. How is that "L" tattoo coming along?

Graybeard I bet you are jealous and want a Fish-off for the title don't you. You would definitely get my vote.
Def caught a lot of sheephead. No double of sheep however. They are fun to catch but when you are trying to get limits not so much.
BTW that comment about your undieing love was mistaken. I was thing about K at the boat livery.
& a fishoff would be interesting. Of course after limits were assured.
