No Fish Monday

Closer and I hit the river on Monday and did not tap into anything. No strikes or hits. Water was really low at the time. We got to see the massive changes to the bank structure. In a few areas where we travel some trees must have pounded into the bank for a stretch of 40-50 feet and pushed rock up to 6' in the air. It just goes to show how much the river changes each year and how dangerous it can be for those who get in a hurry...

It has changed a lot .Looks like there will be some new holes.and some filled in.of coarse we have not had the spring floods yet last year it started .Last year it started Feb 28 and lasted until around March 13th.fishing started to pick up..the high water has moved a lot of wood and sand where it never was and a lot of trees were under mined and fell over

Hop to it? I would be happy just to be able to walk to it. No real desire to freeze my ass for the possibility of a fish. But I do change my mind sometimes.

All my ice crap was put away Tuesday & I found my 2 poles I use for the WE so I am progessing. Need to find my jigs (lead & floaters & whatnot yet.)

Great 1st fishing trip at BW. Did not strike out. Threw it back. It was snaged. But like the Doc said after he threw his fish back I was still hungry. Saw 4 fish caught including mine. But before anyone get excited they all were suckers.
