Welcome to 2019! Started in 2001, this blog provides information about the Maumee River Walleye Run. Instant updates @DrWalleye on Instagram. Check for regular water level updates taken through NOAA as well as my interpretations of them. The action is fast. The information is reliable. And the Ohio Department of Natural Resources enforcement officers are watching--BEWARE!

Looking a little better
Rain is here! That will only help our cause. The campground got busy this weekend, and there were visibly more anglers in the river...mostly on foot with fewer boats due to low water. But hopefully the rain makes it to the river in the next few days. That would help us toward mid/end of week. Finally some positive news!

Graybeard and DPLDIP got reports of a few fish caught yesterday. One was at Ford St. One was at Buttonwood.
Opie caught a 15 in steelhead at Ford st on Monday. There seems to be quite a few of them showing up this year for some reason. Still no rise in water to speak of, Sat looks like a good bet to finally get some flow and fish.
Anyone doing anygood?
