Schroeder Farms Opens Sunday, March 31
Expect a lot of mud! Heather posted the opening yesterday. The river was slow and low the last few days. Expect this soaking rain to bring plenty of fresh fish up the Maumee later next week! I did pick off this 4 lb 8 oz female last night. Lots of guys with only 1 fish on their stringer, including me.

Nice catch doc. Towards the end of the week the river should be on fire. Lets get it done yall!
Yep! Taking Friday off. Maybe Mon & Tues as well :)
Tight Lines fellas! Should be rocking good by Wednesday I'm thinking.
river is up a little today several ft not many fishing .Watch that first step if you don't know the river.did not see any fish,I guess they close the small lot at Side cut if walking to the Island is not safe.
I'm curious as to what the river level is like today and projected through the weekend. I fished all day on Saturday in the rain and mud, came back Sunday and it was so high it looked like a different river, LOL.
The river has dropped almost 4 feet at Waterville since Sunday.
The river has been dropping rapidly since early this week, now down to 5.4, having reached a crest on Monday of 9.5. All ares should be reachable this weekend since the drop will continue. Good luck!
The guy cleaning fish at Orleans said he was cleaning lots of limits.the river was crowded at noon lots of boats and all the high water parking areas were full.where ever they could get to the water there were fisherman and women
