Since Tuesday, limits are being caught every trip. The river today is at 582 and the temp is above 40. My buddies are all getting limits, sometimes in 30 minutes. I'm headed down this evening for the first time since Monday, unfortunately. But family obligations called. Now is the time. But this is not the main run. Even if the river goes up a foot with rain in the next few days, the fishing will be accessible.
For those of you who knew about my son's surgery, everything went fine.

Bob,
I'm gettin the itch for the eyes. I probably won't make it down to the river, but we will be out in the lake in about 2 weeks. Talked to Tony and he's going today...if he didn't gary-out! Try to get my brother to go, but he can only cast a zebco 303. He wouldn't be in any danger--if he fell in his head would keep him afloat. He probably would sit on shore, drink, and give you encouragement though. Talk to you soon--we would like to get you out in the lake with us. --Chris
Chris,
Great post dude. Dr. Walleye is always up for a trip to the lake to bang some bay eyes.
If your bro actually fished, he would probably do so by hand. But I agree that he would have to wear a weight belt 'round the neck. I have Tony's # if it hasn't changed in a few years. I gotta get him out with me.
