Matt and I fished on Sunday evening in front of the cut. We pounded in logs to mark the 6 ft dropoff--DANGER--that we had been able to wade in previous years. We got in to the right of that but rolled no fish. So we fished the washout, but again, no fish. See Matt's comment on the previous post. I probably won't fish until Friday. Let's hope for a GOOD FRIDAY! Eugene reported to my neighbor John that some females were taken at Orleans.
Cabelas rocks. Eric and I returned waders and got store credit. 3 years ago I paid $160 and this year they leak. I beat the crap out of those waders, and even the yellow "Cabelas" logo/print on the front was totally torn up. The clerk looked up an ID# on my waders and then gave me a store credit of $137 no questions asked. Eric got a good value for his too. So I got brand new waders for about $45 since the price for the same pair is up to $180. Hope that the new Bass Pro has the same guarantee with their waders.
