Yeah, I went down Wednesday and only brought home 1. I used up all my mojo the night before with my 25 fish landed. Travis had no problems getting his 4. It sure is fun fishing the hole.
The river is expected to rise a bunch this weekend. And of course every dipstick and his cousin will be in the river this weekend. I may fish tonight and then wait until Monday to get out again.
I'd like to know if you want to participate in a tournament for either Friday night, April 18 or Saturday morning April 19. Give me a call. A Friday night tourney could be pretty cool to avoid all the out-of-towners on Sat. We could call a weighin in my garage at 8:45 or whenever.
A buddy of mine went to Orleans last Saturday morning and arrived at 6:15 am. Already, the parking lot was about full, and guys were lined up along the bank. That's an hour before fishing time. Talk about crazy-busy.
Some dude got a 32" 16.13 lb walleye in the Sandusky River. It missed the state record by less than a quarter pound. As reported in The Blade.
