Glad to see you aboard, Eastoon! We all got 2 last night. Made for three dueces. The fishing picked at about 7:00. Just in time for a few fish on the stringer. I had to throw a different fish back last night.
An interesting point...Corky got a fish that had a floater snagged in its back. And if the DNR would have seen that, they would have used it as excuse to write a ticket. Before I could see it, Corky took the floater hook out. But I would have left it there. That way if the BUFU DNR came up to me I'd have challenged them to find in my tackle a similar floater, which I didn't have. It is another example of why DNR has a bad name. We fish legally and have to worry about getting ticketed unfairly.
The DNR have plebes with them. A big ole BUFU training session. So the younger DNR wannabees are being shown how to walk the line. And just like that young DNR guy from Maumee, there will be a new batch of hardcores trying to bother any angler they can find a reason to ticket. Is it turkey season yet?

The DNR justed needed some young blood to climb the trees for them. They have plenty of fine examples for the plebes to follow on how to be a professional lieing snake in the grass.
WOW! WHAT A DAY YESTERDAY TURNED OUT TO BE. THE "CLOSER" CAME THROUGH AGAIN. BOTTOM OF THE NINTH AND RUNNERS ON... CAN HE DO IT. STICKTOITIVENESS. POSITIVITY.
The "Birdman" was at Buttonwood today, only saw 1 fish caught up through 1pm, water is still dropping.
Try Again. No fish for 4 days in a row. Not even a snaged one. Gues I should go fishing if I want one.
Hey there fisherboy, hope you are feeling better. Birdman is not even going to fish until something starts happening.
