Looking Better

The river is down to 6.58 which is one foot lower than yesterday morning. Great news! Things will be opened up today, especially later in the day. But the north-east wind will slow the flushing. Could be chilly down there. Of course we'll have to battle the out-of-towners.

I got 3 walleye yesterday in my fav high water spot. Didn't get to keep them all because snagging is illegal of course. Also got into several junk fish.

I'll be down there later. You know where to find me. But getting through the second shoot will be impossible--no hole fishing today.

Hey Doc, let me know if you are going down on Saturday, I think I'll tag along. An extra set of eyes never hurts and I could use a
an excuse for a beer or two. I may even have one for fisherboy.

Ezee & I was down this morning. We released 4 (four) snaged fish that was waving to us with their tails. We also lost a few in the weeds. Each of us finished with 2. Thanks to Ezee for chasing my fish down & carring to the car. (Who needs Dbldip?)(Just kidding). Turns out 1 of my was a 29" female. Ezee was correct that it was big. Never relly looked at it until I got home.

As an aside watched 1 guy swim to the island, He decided the walk was too tricky. Seriously glad he made it to the island, His buddy helped him get back to safety (almost fell again). They went back to Schroder instanly.
