Hey fellas. About being at 7.5 NOAA by Wed...well...it came early. As of 10 pm on Monday night we are at 7.56. We are expected to peak by NOAA at 8.2 by tomorrow but I don't think it will get quite that high. NOAA is by no means conservative. All that said, I drove over the Maumee Bridge tonight, and Mama River is flowing fast, strong, and high.
By WED evening some hardcores will make it out. But only if you like Orleans and White St which I do. But I'm tellin you now...with highs in the 70s coming late week and wind switching from E NE to S SW the river will drop quick and the main run will start, after the transition. I've always been a believer in GOOD FRIDAY! Have patience.
Also, I have the blog counter set up so that people don't go to it a bunch of times in an hour and it counts. It only records new visits after a long time. Since Saturday I've gotten 60 hits. Dr. I got one more eye for the year. That only puts you 8 ahead of me... I will catch you on the river Thurs. and Friday. Had to work real hard for my closer tonight... 7:45
