Well I guess the river is always slow for me when I can't get down to fish it. Busy week. Thanks for all the posts guys. I may get out in the river on Sunday pm. I was hoping to get on the lake on Saturday but am going to stick around here.
Fisherboy...glad that you showed up on the site. You been following us this whole time? Anyway, welcome back. And I have to ask Fisherboy if that incident that we heard about is true? Not that I doubt you, but when things get said on April Fools Day it made me wonder. What was the end result?

I was supposed to go with my neighbor tonight, but could not get out. He came home with an empty net from "buttwood" and said he had 4 outside in... maybe I should have shown him how to bring some home without the net. Maybe next time.

Fishing sucked for me the last 2 days. Unable to get to the deep fast water. & as Corky remarked (more or less) screw the net.
Water dropped 6 inches since Sunday night. I Limited out last night and got 3 in 2 hours this morning. Birdman got 1 yesterday and 4 this morning all on Timmys favorite rock bar. The fish are all in the fast center of the river. Lots of small jacks being seen, still no females?
Going to risk my life tomorrow (really just my back) & try the rock bar at BW. God I have to be desperate to do that.
