Get ready

The river is not up at all yet but should swell a bit starting later this evening. I'll keep you posted the next few days in prep for the weekend. I don't see the islands getting cut off from wading since NOAA is predicting only a small rise--up maybe one foot by Thursday. The flow of the river will at least double by Wednesday, so that will help push the fish in.

No river reports yesterday. It was really crappy outside. This weekend will be crazy busy down there, but the rise in water will help thin things out since guys won't be able to wade as far out.

A Sucker a day keeps the Walleyes away. Thats my new motto. This fishing sucks. Fished an hour at Doc's hole with a couple of guys. No one felt a fish.
Ran into Birdman on way home. We decided to fish bluegrass for a while across fr the Rock Pile at BW. So much fun donating jigs & weights. The only thing we had on were 2 suckers.
Did see 2 WE caught on the Rock Pile & a few to the left of us. Don't know about others but I say "Bring on the Whities"
