It was a little slow last night. I only got three! And The Closer got three also! Flo yellow and chart glitter were banging them. The river was obviously on the rise as we stood there in the drapstrip. Nothing like some fresh walleye in the freezer.

I agree Graybeard...NOAA has some promising news. Last night we were at 2.88 and now we are at 3.5. By evening it'll be at 4.2. I don't see the crest higher than 6 ft even though NOAA puts it higher...they overcompensate. Any way you slice it, this weekend and early next week will be smokin. Don't fall in!
I am headed down later...the curiousity of my favorite hole is too tempting to pass up. Hope for some fresh fish!

water is up about a foot and flow is about 2000 cu ft more,,saw Fisherboy's truck at Sidecut this morning but was gone at 2:30 must have limited and left,,

Fishing sucked tonight. We were pulling up tons of minnows. Got some trash fish but no walleye. Last night the minnows were lining the banks. That's strange. Gotta do what DBLDIP says and wait for the river to crest.
WOW!! Best fishing for me in a week at Blue Grass. 3 Suckers & 1 WE by the tail. Must have been Charlotte in a jack outfit.

PS Saw your post Dr Walleye. I challenge you to a WE battle when its warmer down by your favorite hole. Bring a 6 pack of beer that I can swig while watching you fish. Of course I will need someone to drive me home. You know what happens after i drink 2 beers.
Make that 2 6 packs and not that Milwaukee Best fisherboy likes. He will just be waiting for the pole handoffs anyway. Friday should be good I predict, I plan on hitting it what about you fisherboy? Are you up for the walk?
