Washed Out

The river is so flooded that late week fishing will be about impossible. But we'll see how far up it goes. It's at 7.44 on Wed evening. It looks like the crest is not until Friday, and NOAA still has it at over 9 ft. Looks like I got the 6 ft mark that I was hoping for...and then some!

Plenty of "nice pics" of female walleye on Garys website, don't here anyone crying about that. Kinda like shooting a doe instead of a buck. Who gives a crap, knock em dead Doc.

Actually doen't it also take a male to make many WE of the future?
Perhaps spring WE fishing S/B eliminated. & likewise during the ice fishing & pier fishing seasons female WE should be released. Perhaps in the summer a test could be perfected to determine the sex so that females can be released. But then males has to be released too. Oh hell stop all WE fishing all the time. Join PETA.

Morning:
Went around 8:00
Sat in Car
Watched
Came Home Without Fishing

Need I say more.

Night:
Drove to SP around 7:45. Actually saw a fish caught - a Shad. Appears Shad are running. But a man did have a small WE on his stringer. Said about 2 dozen were caught. May be acuurate, may not. Did not see any others but did not stick around to quiting time. Don't know time reference but there was a stack load of fishermen so I guess it was possible.
