Get your swell on
With the recent rain, the river rose 4' from Sunday to Monday. That should help loosen up all the ice piled along the riverbanks. It didn't rain all that hard, so the melt-off had to contribute to the sudden rise too. All of the ground in NW Ohio is still frozen. We will approach 70 degrees on Thursday with strong winds from the south/southwest, which always helps to flush out timber and ice. I bet we hear of the first walleye caught by St. Patty's Day.
