River was SLOW last night. We went to the hole, and Corky got one white bass. Those asian fellows said that things had really slowed down. Then came the rain for a while. Nothing to heavy though. So we walked way up river to the drag strip. Corky got another wb. I hadn't gotten a thing all night. Switched to the color smoke glitter with a 1/4 oz and split shot. Wouldn't you know it I got a walleye. Only fish I got all night. We stood there in disbelief for a while, cracked a beer, and kept fishing. Nothing else happened. Where were the white bass fisherboy? Probably up stealing DBLDIPs bait on the lake.

Lake was almost as slow as river, great conditions just nothing biting, I got 1 walleye,1WB,4shitheads, Birdman and his wife got the gooseegg on all species and Rog -2 walleye,1 white perch 3 shitheads and 1 cat. I'll try the river either Sunday night or Mon morning, don't see any reason to fight this wind today. Sorry for being a no show at the river Friday Pm Doc , I was dragging ass from being up 28 hours aleady, we will have to give it a try some evening this next week.
Slow Monday morning. Son & I got 27 WB. At least we did not clean them. Had to talk him out of it. BW at Doc's hole had WB. 1 person got 17. May be time to move upstream?
We hit the hole Monday morning and it was slow, but I did get my first double of the year on WB. Checked out the hump, 2 big trees got uprooted and are now laying right where we fish the hump during high water. This could cause some massive erosion west of this spot where the base of these trees uprooted. If you are in the area check it out.

48 WB & 1 WE for son & I. Nice male. But I feel like a rank beginer. Friend of Kirk must have caught 50 by himself. Slightly upriver (10 yards or so) & using 1/4 & 1/8 oz lures. Time to change line on reel. Never got to hole. Son did & got 15 or so there.
Missed out on trip to Lake. Oh well. Enjoying the WB fishing for the most part.
