For the Record

Walleye Warriors, In November, The Closer got 5 walleye one night on the Maumee River. The next weekend we went, and he King Canned me with one walleye on November 30. It was awesome. Some of the local guys, especially this certain dude, clobbered walleye in the fall. To witness the mayhem was a treat for me. 2012 fishin is all but done. I sure hope we get some local ice this winter. I'd love to bang some crappies. I'd tell you where, but you know how crappie holes are... So I hope your year of fishing produced some yummy meals and great stories. I will be back and online in 2013. I'll be covering my winter fishing adventures (hopefully) and I'll fill you in on the ice-out (hopefully unlike last year) on the Mighty Maumee. I am considering going with Twitter or Instagram this spring to see if I can get information to everyone much, much faster and on the spot. If I do, I'll put something on here about it. Would you use twitter or instagram if I got it going? But either way, this blog will remain intact. The amount of feedback I have gotten in being a valuable resource for people is pretty cool. I can't believe more people don't get the word out like this. I mean, we're talking fishing here. If I can save you a trip from a few hundred miles away, it's worth it. The Maumee River is a great resource, and having fishermen join us for a few months is part of our heritage. Dr. Walleye

Never used twitter & have no desire to do so. Glad to hear you guys were out in Nov. Some good fishing then. Even some in Dec. The guy I fished with during the summer was up in the early part of Jan & got 2. I never made it there this month. Too many other spots to try (plus the high water)
