Final Post of Walleye Season

Hey Walleye Warriors!

It's been quite a year fishing the Maumee River. All said and done, it probably ranks in my top 5 years ever. I really got into them this year and managed a few 10 lb hogs for the wall. Some other highlights,

Corky earned the nickname "The Closer" due to his ability to catch a few walleye in the waning hours of the evening. Corky had his best year ever by FAR. We may all guess as to why...Gams, patience...but I think Corky would just say, "It's the beer."

Toon didn't get out as much this year. But he managed his fish most of the time.

EASY LIMIT had a great year as usual. He's now clocking them on the lake whenever possible.

T$ was elbow deep quite a bit this year.

DBLDIP finally popped his cherry sometime in Mid-May, no thanks to the relatives of the BUFU DNR.

And last but not least, Fisherboy brought home his catch of walleye. And white bass. I don't believe he fell in this year (good job Fisherboy) but I give him credit for getting down there and posting such great reports for us all. Thanks.

I'll take any feedback you would like to post. What would you like to see added to the blog for next year? This year I didn't do any of my surveys like last year. But we did enable seeing those who joined the blog.

As we all turn to the lake and later back to the river for catfish, Dr. Walleye wishes you the time to fish, no snags, and cooler ice that never melts.
