Clobbered 'Em Sunday!

Don't mind the low water, no sir I don't. I clobbered the walleye over the head last night and will post a pic soon. Kept my limit and threw 3 back. I got a 24 1/2" 4 lb 7 oz I think and a 25 1/2" 5 lb 5 oz. Nice jacks there. Lead is the way to go! I got them all on 3" salt and pepper jig bodies. The fish are upriver pretty far now. That's where I got them.

To 'Fishermen', glad we can help you out here at Dr. Walleye's. Hope your friend stays dry next time! It's always a good idea to put the less experienced anglers upriver from you so that in case of a fall, you can help them out easier. Just don't get wiped out too!

Just checked out Buttonwood, not too crowded, found Fisherboy with 1 nice jack. Also found one of our pathetic state employees hiding in the trees behind him hunkered down like a piece driftwood. Too bad they don't bust all the litters restringing their reels and leaving the line on the ground with all of the rest of their trash. But that would require them to come out of hiding and be seen.

Birdman took home 2 ,,Graybeard sucked as usual, screwed up a another rod ,,I guess I better start taking two,,,I was due to break a couple ,,I only break them when it is a long walk,,did manage to loose one at the net, after returning to the river,,with my excursions today only saw maybe 6 fish,,,a lot of discouraged people,,

Word on the street is that fishing was really slow on Monday.

I went down Monday evening, was in same area as Doc W on Sunday evening and didn't see a fish. Went back to the hole area. Water too low. No one on the rock bar on Blue Grass. We NEED water and soon. Fisherboy, did you have any words of encouragement from the "2" of them? Graybeard you are really having an off year aren't you, better get with Birdman and get the boat in the water.

Dbldip,,,you have to know when to give up ,,going out after while to get a set of golf clubs,,done fishing this year,,you were smart not to go today,,I had one Walleye by the Bung Hole ,6 suckers 7 never did see what they were ,,probably saw a 1/2 dozen fish at the most,,one guy left with a questionable 15" he was commenting on how expensive Walleye fishing is ,Hope he did not meet the little Green men,it might get a lot more expensive,,,the eyes we did see were running real small,,but not as small as the one I got earlier in the year

Fishermen, with the low water the best bet is probably on Bluegrass island or Buttonwood. But it has slowed down dramatically and probably wont pick up until we get some real water movement and the temps improve.
