Friday update

The river is at 5.2 on NOAA which is only a slight drop from Thursday. The water temp went up a few degrees which is always good news this time of year. It will go down with the next rain, but forecast is for clear skies today!

It's on! Fishing is picking up. The river has levelled off for the time being, and nice temps are contributing to some healthy catches. DBLDIP and Fisherboy are telling us that fish are being legally caught. So grab your rod and a six-pack and hit the river!

Orleans and Sidecut are probably your best bet. Fort Meigs lower lot will get busy too.

The weather this week looks spotty with showers listed each day but only 30-40% chance. For people wanting to get in the river this weekend, early morning is definitely your best shot since it's getting full down there. I suggest the tow path on the Maumee side or Orleans Park on the Perrysburg side.
