Easy Pickings

When the river was at 7.2 last night, Closer and I clobbered the fish! It was crazy. Every cast was a tug. I got 9 walleye total and kept a limit that weighed exactly 20 lbs. All females. Closer brought home 2 nice females. Between the 2 of us we brought in at least 25 quailbacks. Lots and lots of fish popped off in the heavy current. It was a fun night! Got a new pic at the top of my page.

Some great fishing last night. Heard some great one-liners from the Dr. I took several quill-back showers... If we would have landed all the fish that got off, we would have touch 60 or more fish.

Actually until the structional chg a few yrs back at Highland Pk you could catch a few WE at the Dam there. Ditto for lots of WB.

Try White St on the Maumee side. Or the SP at Orleans (back lot)

I would mount that bitch in a heartbeat! Tear_Em_Up: you may never again, in your entire life, get a walleye that big that you can take home. Nice fish dude!

yeah i think i am going to have it mounted. I have it frozen in my freezer. i was kinda suprised when i caught it cuz it really didnt fight. Had no idea that it was that big until it was in the net.

I mounted an 8 lb'er in 1993 and then 2 x 10 lb'ers a few years ago. For a basic, nice mount you'll spend probably $150. I paid $110 in '93. If you go exotic, the sky is the limit on price. You can pick backgrounds, scene, everything.
