Welcome to the 2015 Fishing Season!

My blog is back for the year! I am making a few tweeks to it, but you can expect the same stuff that you may have grown to rely on here at Dr. Walleye's site. The river is frozen solid, and we have a long time to wait. But I don't think we will wait as long as last year! Take good care of yourselves, enjoy the ice fishing, and I'll shout out to you another time sooner than later. Peace.

Its about time you got your blog started again. I know we have a ways to go, but I have been checking every week since about new years. I know, a little soon, but cabin fever has set in and I need to have some walleye info and talk to get me through till spring. Anyways, nice to see your back.

Thanks live4fishn. I've been doing some ice fishing. About ready to get out my gear and see what I need for the season. Slowly it's ramping up for another season!

looks like it will be a late start for the river this year..but ice fishing on the lake has been very good.for those willing to brave the cold..I have seen a lot of big fish and many limits.for weeks now.The wife's nephew has a place on the islands,His children and grandchildren have been killing the fish and now they have started to get a lot of perch.I should get off my dead ass and go.I just can't get excited about it..
Fisherboy has been quiet this winter.he must have slowed down also

As soon as the river is fishable, for instance no more large ice chunks are flowing down river. And once the water temp is 40 Deg. At that point we'll be catching fish. And I'm READY!!
