See my previous post/comments for articles about closed access points and ice problems that persist. Buttonwood is closed, the road to Buttonwood is closed. Sidecut is closed. Schroeders is currently closed but Whacker-H is working to get it open. If you are coming in this weekend, aim for White St, Orleans, or the Ft. Meigs lower low. Graybeard reported that the lower lot will not be open for road parking--enforced by PPD but that Maple St is allowing boats in (no docks though). So, all said and done, be careful where you park so you don't get ticketed. I am not sure where you can street park on the Maumee side, but today people will have to do that too. I don't know where people are going to fish once the parking spots are filled up.

17 trucks and trailers at Maple st this morning no more room to park,but room to launch.lower lot at Orleans full this morning upper lot about 3/4 full waders are walking about 1/2 way across the river. Ft Meigs lot still not cleared as of 11 am
As I said yesterday - BS. Actually went crappie fishing. No bites 1 spot & the 2nd spot still frozen to shore. But we are having a couple of WE for dinner. Last yr catch.
Is ft meigs fishable? If you can't park at the lower lot of the road going to it where can you go? I can only think of Orleans park and that's a walk!!!! Sounds like the only places to fish are high water. Anybody take a look at bluegrass? I know the water is still a little high yet. Just sounds a little to packed for enjoyment if both lots are full at Orleans.

I AM GETTING SO OLD THAT I SKIPED FISHING TODAY. TOO COLD!!!!ALSO ALMOST PASSED OUT YESTERDAY FROM MY LONG LONG WALK. I REALLY MISS THE SENIOR HOLE AT BW.
