OH YEAH!

Walleye Warriors, this is what we've been waiting for. The walleye are in the river, limits are coming out and people are enjoying the outdoors. Yesterday DBLDIP reported a PACKED river. Others I talked to nailed 'em at White St. Orleans was HOT in the high water Wed/Thurs. And now Buttonwood is picking up. So, it doesn't matter where you go. Access is opened up and people are everywhere! Enjoy fishing this weekend, and enjoy the fillets you'll likely need to cut!

Why no comments? Where are all the walleye warriors? Our last trip down Sunday evening was pretty slow with the falling water levels but myself and the birdman did manage 2 apiece while Doc W got the goose egg. Thats a first! Water has really dropped from last week and all the action is centered around the blue grass to Jerome road area of the river. Hopefully with the rain predicted for tomorrow we get a fresh boost of water and a new push of fish. The guys still trying to fish Orleans are standing all the way out to the island with boats anchored behind them. No current down there.

Live4fishn and I tried our luck this past Sunday morning. We noticed a large crowd when we arrived at sun up, but by 10am, most of the crowd had left. Live4fishn had 2 jacks by 9am, but after that, nothing. We decided to head home around 1pm, and now we wait to try our luck again some other day. I also got skunked Dr. Walleye, don't feel bad. The law of averages my friend :)
