Another push of fish
Happy Easter weekend everybody! The river crested overnight at 5.76 on NOAA from Friday to Saturday and is now slowly/barely on the drop as of Saturday morning. Once a day passes, you will experience dramatically better fishing next week! Look for plenty of Fish Ohio females getting caught next week for sure. Happy fishing!

Happy Easter!!!! I am hoping to get my line wet for the first time Easter Sunday...
I did a drive around this afternoon and the river is still on the rise. Only safe place to fish is Orleans/ white st accesses for now. I did watch some crazy sucker kayak across the back channel at side cut also just downstream from Zap lure guy. He looked to be paddling for his life which is good because had he gotten in trouble there was no one to help him. Not sure why he thought fishing on blue grass would be good with the swift current. Be careful everyone if you go , I would hope the water drops by the weekend to make access to other sites possible.
I tried my luck the morning of Easter, with nothing to show for, except a sucker. Is it just me, or is this years run lousy? I'm not seeing a whole lot of fish coming back on stringers, so I know it's not just me. It seems to me that every time we have a mild winter, the run that follows isn't that great. I sure hope it improves... My freezer is empty!
Fisherguy I have seen and heard alot of good reports today. We needed the rain to bring more fish in and we got it. Should be some good fishing for awhile!
Another inch of rain forecasted for Ft. Wayne Tonight through tomorrow.
River will get even higher if they get that.
Fished meigs from my boat last night. Got my limit my cousin got 2 fishing was tough had to work really hard to get them.not in there as thick as I thought but still there.be patient and you'll catch fish
