Another good day
Fishing yesterday was hot again. It's so nice to get to the river, make a few throws, and get lots of fish in. Carp, suckers, walleye, quillbacks, white bass. You name it. Everything is hitting flo orange. Everyone that I was with did great. Don't let the high water fool you. There are fish in that river! 6.3 and holding steady. This weekend will attract lots of people back from wherever they're been...

how many legal walleye did your group end up with?
Glad you're popping them. I know I'm not. Guess I will have to make the surpreme effrort to get on the island.
Seriously the most WE I saw today was at the SP & even that did not make me want to wade out as far as they are going. A few WB were seen but the place that tempted me to fish was the channel between Bluegrass & the shore. Using worms they were hauling out white perch as fast as blugills. While not a lot of skill is needed it does seem appealing to sit in a chair or on a bucket & bring in fish. Definitely my back would feel better.
Guessing you would get the same results at the SP.
I got 4 today but it took me from daylight until 3 to get em. 3 were females including a 9.4 pounder. All still hard
talked to 3 guys at Maple st that got busted at Maple st today said they were fishing by Schroders in a boat today they were ticketed at Maple st,,what up with everyone getting caught all of a sudden
busted for snagging??
Most people thought the "fish protectors" were done for the yr. So did I. I guess if you "play" you have to pay.
BTW there was an article in the Toledo Blade Steve Polack column about 13 guys who did both in Sandusky Bay. Seem like they got off easy for what they did. Must be cheaper there then in Lucas or Wood counties.
The Boyz have too much time on their hands with the crappy turkeyhunting. There is also a bunch of young blood DNR who are all trying to make a name for themselves. I talked to a guy who got popped and they were trying to bust them for all kind of BS. Obviously they need to read the rules and realize the March 1 to May 1 regulations are not valid any longer whether they like it or not.
